music has always been more than entertainment to me.
i’m a sixth-generation musician from new orleans, and for nearly thirty years i’ve had the privilege of sharing it everywhere from intimate listening rooms to stages like the apollo theater and the grand ole opry. every place i’ve played has shaped me, but the purpose has remained the same: to create music that brings people together and reminds us what it feels like to be fully alive.
my sound is rooted in the traditions that raised me, yet unafraid to wander wherever the song wants to go. you’ll hear echoes of jazz, soul, gospel, blues, rock, electronica, hip hop, and the rhythms of new orleans—but more than genres, you’ll hear a lifetime of curiosity, travel, faith, joy, heartbreak, and hope.
i want you in your body as much as your head: swaying, grooving, smiling, feeling it before you’re thinking about it. every performance is different because every audience is different. no two nights are the same. the room becomes part of the music, and together we create something that exists only once.
