about
i’ve spent most of my life asking one question:
why do some people repeat the same patterns while others find the courage to change?
that question has shaped nearly everything i’ve done.
i’m a sixth-generation musician from new orleans, and for nearly thirty years i’ve had the privilege of performing around the world, from intimate listening rooms to stages like the apollo theater and the grand ole opry. along the way i’ve been a teacher, writer, speaker, and entrepreneur — and, most importantly to me, a husband and father.
those experiences taught me something i couldn’t learn in a classroom:
most of the battles we fight aren’t around us. they’re within us.
the stories we believe.
the identities we inherit.
the fears we carry.
the patterns we repeat.
that’s why i created break the chain.
whether i’m writing a book, performing music, speaking to an audience, mentoring an artist, or sitting across the table in a coaching session, i’m trying to do the same thing:
help people recognize what’s been shaping their lives…and discover what’s possible when truth replaces fear.
the vehicle changes.
the mission never does.
